Celebrating over 10 years of ESS® expandable sand screen success. Since 1999, when Weatherford deployed its first expandable completion system, ESS systems has been changing the face of sand control, improving well productivity and significantly reducing costs.
Expandable screens filter all but the smallest sand grains, which are produced. ESS expandable sand screens expand compliantly against the wellbore, eliminating annular space and providing borehole support and sand exclusion. Our systems have been used in a diverse range of applications and have been especially successful in long, single-zone reservoir sections.
