When cementing efforts fail, operators must prevent leaks and splits from occurring during squeeze jobs, ensuring no further damage is caused.
Weatherford’s HOMCO internal casing liner patch is designed to seal perforations, collar and thread leaks, splits and limited corroded areas in tubing and casing to provide added protection during squeeze jobs.
The steel patch is resistant to cracking and crumbling and an epoxy resin, spread on a fiberglass mat covering the outside diameter of the steel liner, is extruded into leaks and cavities in the casing wall, acting as a gasket and secondary sealing agent. We offer a complete line of tools and patches in more than 60 different sizes for casing and tubing sizes from 2-7/8 inches to 26inches.
