Tubing Spiders

Oil Country model B, CHD, and E tubing spiders are designed to handle a range of tubing sizes and load ratings. Tubing spiders use two slip body assembly halves. A pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder actuates a link that causes the crank shafts to rotate, which lowers the slips. A safety latch can engage a shoulder on the link to prevent movement. This traps the slips in the down and engage position, which prevents accidental release of the tubing string.

Features for Models B, CHD & E

  • Hydraulic or air operation
  • 360° replaceable inserts
  • Removable gate
  • Single string application
