Shortstak^® production logging sensors help evaluate reservoir conditions, diagnose well problems and manage well performance. The pulsed neutron decay (PND^®) - spectrum sensor provides through-casing neutron and density porosity data in addition to standard pulsed-neutron measurements. It simultaneously measures conventional capture gamma ray and high-energy inelastic data, providing comprehensive formation evaluation in cased wellbores.

The PND spectrum sensor can log through casing and tubing while maintaining the accuracy of larger tools. Water saturation can be determined from sigma or carbon/oxygen measurements in a single logging pass, which makes the PND spectrum sensor ideal for identifying bypassed hydrocarbons.
