ESP System Applications

The durability and service life of a Weatherford ESP system relies heavily on the quality of each system component. From robust, dependable downhole motors to an extensive range of intakes, gas separators and multistage centrifugal pumps and surface components, our ESP systems can be customized and assembled for a variety of applications for long-term efficiency and extended service life.There are many applications where an ESP will provide the most efficient cost-per-barrel lifting method. While ESPs are often considered unsuitable for sandy, gassy or abrasive applications, Weatherford can supply suitable coatings, stage geometry and gas handling equipment to ensure a long run life in these potentially hazardous conditions.

In addition, Weatherford’s sand control technologies can provide a lower completion that will provide the best sand protection available in today’s market.
