Alpha VS/R Wet-Gas Flowmeter
Weatherford’s Alpha VS/R wet-gas flowmeter is the world’s first nonnuclear, three-phase wet-gas flowmeter. It is engineered for accurate, real-time measurements of gas, condensate and water rates at the wellhead. The flowmeter provides accurate measurement even in severe off-design flow conditions.
The compact, in-line design is minimally intrusive with low pressure drop and requires only basic field configuration and does not need complex or frequent recalibrations. It is fully integrated and contains on-board fluid parameters for line-to-standard volume conversions.
This robust, cost-effective flowmeter has a high-ambient-temperature rating and low power consumption, making it suitable for solar panel power and desert applications. It is designed for Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations.
For optimal performance, the Alpha VS/R wet-gas flowmeter is mounted vertically—taking up minimal footprint.
