Weatherford McMurry-Macco™ Dump Kill Valves function as virtual dummy valves to pack off communications ports in side pocket mandrels. Casing pressure is the driving force to open these valves. The necessary casing pressure above tubing pressure differential is obtained by applying pressure to the casing annulus until the valve opens.

The valves remain open once the differential has been obtained. Tubing pressure over casing pressure differential will not open the valves. Valves must be retrieved by wireline and reset. Models include:

RDK-1 Dump Kill Valves
– 1-in. OD valve
RDK-2 Dump Kill Valve
– 1.5-in. OD valve
RDDK-2 Dump Kill Valve
– 1.5-in. OD valve with integral check
