Hydraulic Jet-Lift Systems
Weatherford's Unidraulic® hydraulic jet-lift systems provide extraordinary flexibility to meet a broad range of lift requirements. Employing the Venturi principle, simple manipulation of injection rate and pressure, combined with adjustments to throat and nozzle configurations, allow system performance to be tuned as well conditions change.
Sometimes logistics deem it necessary to lift multi-well gas production with a single artificial-lift system. If a centralized gas-lift system is infeasible for any reason, hydraulic jet pumps can provide a solution. They will not gas-lock like positive-displacement pumps, and they work extremely well in deviated wells.
Coiled-Tubing-Conveyed Jet Pumps
In wells with restricted access as a result of small tubing sizes or constrictions, jet pumps can be retrofitted, using coiled tubing. The annulus between the tubing and coil is used as the return-flow path for the power fluid, and the casing annulus is used to vent the gas.
Jet-Lift Systems for Gas-Well Cleanup
The industry has long appreciated the benefits of rapidly removing fluids from wells that have been massively hydraulically fractured in tight-gas reservoirs. Accelerating cleanup with temporarily installed hydraulic jet-frac flowback systems comes with the added advantage of easy well installation and removal.
