Weatherford Spiral Plungers are economical, low maintenance plungers available in both solid and hollow designs. They are manufactured from 4140 alloy steel and heat-treated for optimum durability. These plungers are designed with an API fishing neck. They are also available for sour service application.

Spiral Plungers are ideally suited for wells with a high gas-to-liquid ratio. They also make excellent candidates for wells with high paraffin, salt or scale content.

A By-Pass valve is available in the spiral plunger design. This feature allows fluid to flow through the plunger during fall time and is designed to decrease fall time while providing all the benefits of the spiral design.
