LOWIS™ Life of Well Information Software
Production-well management relies on three key aspects: (1) integration of real‑time monitoring information, (2) the operation of lift equipment at optimum set points, and (3) efficient workover management, driven by robust analysis. The LOWIS application combines these areas of functionality in a single application. This ensures that every member of the asset management team, from operator to production manager, can access the right information, in the right format, to support critical production decisions.

LOWIS software provides real-time monitoring and alarming capabilities, coupled with integrated analytical and reporting tools, to achieve optimum well performance. Fully configurable and user-friendly alarms in the real-time monitoring module help operators manage assets by exception and increase their efficiency. Best-practice workflows can be configured to support typical operational activities, such as downtime management, well-status management, well-test validation and artificial-lift changes.
The LOWIS application natively supports analysis workbench (AWB) modules for reciprocating rod lift, electric submersible pump, progressing cavity pumping and gas lift. The AWB modules perform optimization analysis using real-time data and detailed mathematical models of each lift type, and they generate intelligent alarms to warn operators of non-optimal use of the lift equipment. Use of the AWB modules and customizable workflows allows operators to quickly identify, prioritize, plan and service underperforming wells, thereby reducing downtime and associated production losses.
LOWIS software supports the scorecarding tools and complete well histories available in the WSM (well service manager) module, which enable producers to develop and implement best practices of failure management.
