With current liquid disposal requirements and the increasing expense of controlling pumped fluids, a troublesome source is the obsolete top-exposed packed plunger pump.

The hazards of uncontrolled leakage and vapor may be controlled through the use of Kobe top enclosed vertical plunger pumps. All leakage is dealt with in the enclosed mid-section of the pump, while preserving the small footprint of the vertical arrangement.

The Kobe design is available in a variety of fluid end configurations and materials. Units are capable of handling 15 through 200 input horsepower, and operating pressures as high as 30,000 PSI.
