Q: What does Weatherford do?

Q: How do I apply for a job at Weatherford?

Q: Do I have to apply with a resume?

A: You do not have to upload a resume, however this is highly encouraged. Uploading your resume allows Weatherford recruiters to get a complete picture of your career experience and qualifications.

Q: What happens after I submit my application online?

A: Once you have applied for a position, you will receive an email notification confirming receipt of your application and resume. You can also check the status of your application(s) by logging into your account and clicking on the My Careers Tool link at the top of the page. The job(s) you applied for and their current status  will be listed.
 
Note: You will receive an email notification whenever any of these actions occur:

  • You apply for a job.
  • The recruiter or HR has scheduled an interview.
  • A job offer is given.
  • The recruiter or HR has linked your application to a job.
  • An employee refers your application.

Q: What should I do if I have submitted an application, but I have not yet heard anything back?

A: We thank you for your interest in a career at Weatherford. The Weatherford recruiting team is reviewing your individual capabilities and qualifications to determine if your experience matches our requirements. If so, you will be contacted directly by a recruiter with next steps. We encourage you to check the status of your application(s) by logging into your account and clicking on the My Career Tools link at the top of the page.

Q: Can I send my resume via fax, mail or email?

A: Please be aware that resumes and applications are not accepted via email.  If you are interested in applying for a position with Weatherford, please visit http://jobs.weatherford.com and apply there. It is important that you apply for positions through our online application process because we require you to complete a few short questions online as part of the application process. The information helps us determine if there is an appropriate match between you and the position that you applied for.

Q: What if I am interested in multiple positions? Can I apply for more than one position?

A: Yes. Please apply for each position of interest that matches your experience and the requirements stated in the job description. Your application will be considered against each job for which you apply.

Q: Why can’t I find a job posting I heard about?

A: For one of the following reasons:
The position has reached its posting expiration date.
The position has been removed from the system.
The position has been filled.

Q: Do I need a degree to work at Weatherford?

A: If a degree is a requirement, that will usually be stated in the job description. It mostly depends on the level and nature of the role you are interested in.

Q: I am having problems with registering or applying on the career site.

Q: I am a third-party staffing and recruiting agency

A: The following information applies to all Weatherford entities.

Weatherford does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters, employment agencies, or staffing firms. To conduct business with Weatherford, a Master Services Agreement (MSA) must be executed and confirmed prior to submitting any information relating to a potential candidate. Without a signed Master Services Agreement, Weatherford shall not be responsible to any individual or entity for any payment relating to any form of fee or compensation.

And, in the event that a resume or candidate is submitted by a recruiter, an employment agency, or a staffing firm without a fully executed Master Services Agreement, Weatherford has the unrestricted right to pursue and hire any of those candidate(s) without any legal or financial responsibility to the recruiter, agency, and/or firm.
