These courses ensure complete technology transfer and sustain the performance improvements gained by using our technologies, products, and services. Each course features basics on technology, including operations, case studies, and examples that vary from hand-calculations to the use of interactive software packages.
Each course is presented by qualified product leaders and trainers, each of whom is experienced in the field and in teaching petroleum engineering.
Any training course can be held at your location, which gives you a cost-efficient method of teaching large groups in your organization. The timing and content are flexible to meet your needs. You can also sponsor a course at your location and invite individuals from other companies to participate with you. Email us for more information.
How To Register
To register, go to the training schedule. Click the register button next to the course you would like to attend and complete the registration form. To ensure that you have a seat in any given course, please register at least four weeks in advance.
Course Fees: The course fees are listed on the training schedule page and on the registration form. The fee includes a trial software license (where applicable), manuals, and documentation. We encourage you to bring a laptop when indicated.
Payments: Payment for courses should be made in advance. This can be done by sending a check with the emailed copy of your application form, providing a credit card number with your registration, or alternatively we can issue an invoice provided that a work order or purchase order reference is available. We cannot confirm enrollment in the course without payment.
Meals and travel: Travel, meals (with the exception of lunch), and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the attendee.
Cancelation: Should you need to cancel enrollment, we will refund the full fee less a 5-percent administration fee if you provide written notice at least 21 days prior to the start of the course. We cannot issue a refund for cancelations received with fewer than 21 days' notice, but registration may be transferred to another employee from the same company at any time.
Should you wish to cancel a booked course in favor of another course within the same calendar year and of the same duration, we will not charge an administration if we receive written notification at least 21 days before the start of either course. If the change is requested within 21 days of the start of either course, we will charge a 5-percent administration fee.
Should you wish to transfer from a course in the current calendar year to a course that occurs in the following calendar year, the difference in fees (if applicable) must be made before the start of the course. No other transfer options are available.
Weatherford reserves the right to cancel a course for reasons of insufficient registration or force majeure, in which case all payments will be refunded.
