Weatherford’s Petroline® Slickplug retrievable bridge plug was developed in response to the industry’s move toward monobore wells, the need for thru-tubing retrievable tools to service those completions, and the reduction of operational costs associated with electric line tools, which are set using pyrotechnics.
Since its introduction, the Slickplug tool has seen service all over the world in a variety of applications. The tool’s reliability has surpassed that of all comparable systems, in particular in the key area of retrievability.
