4P Sealbore Packer Systems

Weatherford’s 4P sealbore packer system allows for single-trip deployment of the gravel pack system in which the packer assembly remains in place as the production installation after the pumping operation.

The retrievable sealbore packer and its crossover tool are designed to operate in three different positions. The squeeze position allows fluids to be injected into the reservoir without exposing the casing to injection pressures and fluids. The circulating position directs pumped fluid down the screen or casing annulus, ensuring complete coverage of the perforated interval. The reverse position redirects the fluid path, circulating excess sand slurry to the surface after gravel packing is complete.

This field-tested, gravel-pack system is suited for the following completion applications:

• Vertical or highly deviated wells
• Shallow or deep wells
• Single or multiple gravel packs
• Squeeze, circulating, and high-rate gravel packs
• Short or long perforation intervals
