To meet the needs of demanding intelligent-well applications, Weatherford developed high-performance packers with instrumentation and control-line feedthroughs that work in conjunction with our suite of remotely operated flow controls, such as the ROSS^® remotely operated sliding-sleeve valve and instrumentation.

The HellCat™ 2 packer is a hydraulic set with a shift or cut-to-release mechanism that provides high-pressure capability in both directions for applications where stimulation below the packer is expected. HellCat 2 packers feature no-downward mandrel movement to set the packer and are suited for stacked or liner-top completions.
