StarBurst™ Systems
The StarBurst systems creates Levels 3 and 4 multilateral junctions with lateral liner tieback to the main bore, providing mechanical stability and hydraulic isolation at the junction with full access to the lateral and production access to the main bore.
The systems are ideal for use in existing wells in mature fields, particularly those cases with declining production having additional nearby reserves that can be accessed while still maintaining the original wellbore production.
The StarBurst system can be used in new or re-entry applications. The systems allow production from both main bore and lateral. They are a low-risk Level 4 with mechanical integrity and is intelligent-well compatible.
