ShallowAngle QuickCut™ Casing Exit System
The ShallowAngle system evolved from the industry demand for QuickCut technology in an extended-length window offering. The single-trip design produces the same high-performance milling and gauge retention as the standard 3° QuickCut system in a 2° platform. The additional length generated accommodates new technologies such as rotary-steerable drilling systems and expandable and inflatable accessories.
ShallowAngle QuickCut whipstocks are available in a variety of anchoring options, including:
- mechanical set
- hydraulically actuated, mechanically set
- retrievable or permanent packer
