Jet Pump Installations

Weatherford offers a system for installing an insert jet pump by coiled-tubing, slick line, or electric line insert safety valves in monobore applications.

The insert jet pump system uses a large-bore FloMax™ or PB packer and a Weatherford jet pump set at the required depth in the production tubing. The packer and jet pump are run separately. The packer is set on an E-HST hydraulic setting tool on tubing; it can also be set using the SlickPump^™ setting tool or on electric line, using conventional wireline pressure setting tools. The Weatherford jet pump is run in and latched into a profile nipple below the packer.

This system is recommended for applications where the packer system stays in the same basic ID in the production tubing or liner throughout the operation. PB and FloMax packer systems are ISO 14310 V-3-certified.
