Sand Screen Hang-Off Operations
Weatherford offers systems for performing coiled-tubing, electric-line, or slick-line conveyed in-tubing screen hang-offs.
Screen hang-off can be performed using a FloMax™, PB or GP packer with the Weatherford screen type required to isolate sand production. An E-HST setting tool is run above the packer for setting on tubing hydraulically or on electric line with a wire line adapter kit. The slick-line option is run with the SlickPump™ tool for setting of the packer. The FloMax, PB, or GP packer is set, directing flow through the screen and into the production tubing. All setting systems release from the FloMax, PB, or GP packer at the predetermined pack-off force required.
