Surface Horizontal Pumping System

Used in a variety of oilfield and industrial applications, Weatherford’s Surface Horizontal Pumping System (HPS) provides specific solutions to a wide range of fluid movement applications. This system employs a conventional electric direct-coupled pumping unit, to provide a low maintenance alternative to traditional surface pumps. Weatherford’s HPS is also available as an electric belt driven unit and a gas or diesel powered, belt driven unit.

Delivering variable thrust loading capacity to 12,000 lbs., this system can typically handle up to 40,000 BFPD (6,000 m3/d) and discharge pressures ranging up to 5,000 psi (35,000 kPa). This versatile and reliable pumping system features design flexibility that facilitates onsite installation and maintenance with minimal site preparation. Offering a low surface profile coupled with a quiet vibration-free system, our HPS provides the right solution for high-pressure applications where environmental considerations are important.
