Chemical Cleaning

Chemical cleaning has long been regarded as the most efficient and least disruptive method for cleaning piping and cooling water systems, boilers, tanks and reactors. Chemical cleaning is required on new build systems to ensure that residual contamination and excess depositions such as mill scale, welding slag and grease do not contaminate product or cause severe damage to rotating machinery or valves. Existing piping systems in service that are affected by contaminants, organic and inorganic scales, may in time reduce flowrates or affect heat transfer. Weatherford can provide the most technically advanced, cost-effective chemical cleaning solution for any combination of problems.

Weatherford is a leading provider of chemical cleaning services and are supported by a group of engineers that will prepare job packs for any application, in any location, with operational and environmental risk analysis at the root of every operation.

Not reliant on using commodity chemicals for the typical degreasing, pickling and passivation stages of chemical cleaning, Weatherford has the resources of in-house chemists that can design and tailor project-specific chemicals to the particular needs or concerns of our clients.

Our state of the art equipment includes chemical baths, boilers, heat exchangers and pumps suitable for all applications. All equipment is containerized for mobilization and certified for offshore and onshore use.
