Insert and Tubing Rod Pumps for High Volumes

To service various needs in rod pumping for high volume applications, Weatherford offers insert and tubing rod pumps.

High-Volume Double-Production Insert Pump

This pump is capable of producing a greater volume of fluid than is possible with a tubing pump in a given size of tubing. With two traveling barrel pumps connected in tandem with a common valve system, this pump can produce up to 63% more fluid than an API tubing pump.

Oversized Tubing Pumps

These are the largest pumps that can be installed when using removable tubing. These pumps provide greater a capacity of production but since the plunger is larger than the ID of the tubing, they can only be serviced by pulling pipe.

Large-Volume Stroke-Through Pumps

These pumps combine large volume displacements with stroke through construction. This all metal plunger pump for 2 3/8” tubing produces volumes of an 1 ½" pump. The plunger strokes out of each end of the barrel to combat build up of gyp and scale on the inside surfaces of the barrel.
