109 Frequency Shift Keying (FSK)
Weatherford’s CAC 109 frequency shift keying (FSK™) modem is used in multiple applications. This unit provides selectable 1200-baud FSK communications in half- or full-duplex. It also interfaces to common radio transceivers, providing the necessary PPT signal.
The RJ45 connection, (P2) on the modem card, handles communication between the modem and the CPU when connected to the SCADA port on the CPU card.
Operational selections for this modem are made using dual-inline package switch settings or jumper selections.
