Quenched and Tempered High-Strength Rods

Designed for high-strength and fatigue performance, the S88 rod provides an intermediate step between the Grade D and ultra-high-strength EL rod. These rods are manufactured with 3130M Nickel-Chrome steel; they are quenched & tempered which results in higher toughness and a finer grain structure, making them capable of better fatigue resistance.

S88 sucker rods are available in 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1” and 1-1/8” diameters. All sizes are available in 25-foot and 30-foot lengths.

Application

Deep, highly loaded wells in mildly corrosive environments provided satisfactory corrosion inhibiting practices are followed.
