Wellsite Canister Gas Desorption

Measure gas volumes and determine gas in place for unconventional plays

To assess gas-in-place volumes for unconventional plays, it is critical to determine the actual volume of gas contained in a rock at the time it is sampled. We measure the gas released from a core sealed within a canister as it is heated to reservoir temperature. This measurement is key to determining gas content and calculating gas-in-place.
