Rugged and portable, the X-ray diffraction (XRD) unit quantifies mineral composition, monitors changes in mineralogy, recognizes formation changes, and distinguishes potential pay zones while drilling.

Deployed at the wellsite, the energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (ED-XRF) instrument establishes chemostratigraphic zonation, identifies geological markers, and validates modeled rock attributes.
