Weatherford International, Inc. (NYSE: WFT) today announced that Bruce F. Longaker, Jr. and Curtis W. Huff have been appointed Executive Vice Presidents with new and expanded responsibilities. These changes are effective immediately.
Mr. Longaker is now Executive Vice President of Weatherford and President of Weatherford Global Compression Services. Mr. Longaker previously had been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Weatherford. Mr. Longaker has been involved in the oil services industry for 22 years. Before joining Weatherford in April 1999 as Senior Vice President and CFO, he spent 18 years with Camco and Schlumberger. He has experience in all phases of the oilfield services industry.
Mr. Huff, who has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Weatherford, is adding the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will be an Executive Vice President of the Company. Mr. Huff joined Weatherford in May 1998 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Previously, he was a partner at Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. and served as outside counsel to Weatherford and EVI, Inc. Mr. Huff has a strong legal and financial background in the oilfield services industry.
Weatherford also announced that Robert Stiles, formerly Senior Vice President of Weatherford and President of Weatherford Global Compression Services division has left the company to pursue other interests.
