Weatherford Awarded Complete Service Package for ExxonMobil Wyoming 2000 Drilling Project

Weatherford International, Inc. (NYSE: WFT) today announced that it has been awarded all aspects of service for the ExxonMobil-Wyoming 2000 Drilling Program in LaBarge and Big Piney, WY. This is the first time a single vendor has been awarded all aspects of service for the Wyoming Project.

The Wyoming 2000 Project consists of 15 wells using three rigs; a workover rig and two rotary rigs. The workover rig utilizes Weatherford’s Underbalanced Services (UBS) air equipment, and Williams rotating control head, as well as Weatherford drill pipe and other handling tools to preset casing in advance of the rotary rigs. Weatherford’s Dailey Directional Drilling will provide services on the larger rotary rigs. Weatherford will also provide MWD equipment, drilling motors, and rotary tools. Weatherford drilling jars and cementation products will be used in the project and fishing services will also be provided.
