Weatherford International Ltd. Registered Shares Approved for Listing on NYSE Euronext Paris

GENEVA, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Weatherford International Ltd. (NYSE: WFT) today announced that the French Autorite des marches financiers (AMF) has approved the Company's prospectus for admission of its registered shares to listing and trading on the Professional Segment of NYSE Euronext Paris ("Euronext"), and has granted visa number 09-277, dated September 29, 2009, on the prospectus. This prospectus has been prepared by Weatherford International Ltd. and its signatory accepts the responsibility for its contents. The attention of investors is drawn to the risk factors described in the prospectus. On September 28, 2009, Euronext approved Weatherford's application for listing and trading of its registered shares on Euronext.
