HOUSTON, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Weatherford International Ltd. (NYSE: WFT) announced today that Joseph Gocke, formerly the Assistant Treasurer for Aquila, Inc., has joined the company and will hold the position of Treasurer.

Prior to Aquila, Mr. Gocke worked at Indeck Energy Services, Inc. as Vice President, Finance. His 21-year career also includes serving as the Vice President, Public and Project Finance, for Sanwa Bank, as a consultant for Jennings, Ryan and Kolb, and as a production engineer for Shell Oil.
Mr. Gocke has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
