  • Straight-pull shear release facilitates retrieval with coiled tubing (CT).
  • The CT-IRBP tool incorporates the Weatherford patented Get A Grip™ anchoring technology to enhance anchoring ability and minimize the risk of a misrun.
  • High-performance inflation elements, capable of up to 3:1 expansion, make the CT-IRBP ideal for high-expansion applications.
  • Equalization takes place inside and outside the toolstring during retrieval, which helps prevent equalization problems and misruns.


Tool Description

The Weatherford coiled-tubing conveyed inflatable retrievable bridge plug is a high-performance inflatable bridge plug. It incorporates a high-expansion inflatable element and a robust chassis for remedial bridge plug applications. The CT-IRBP can be conveyed into the wellbore on coiled tubing or jointed pipe. This single-set tool must be returned to the surface and redressed before re-use.
