Recruitment and Offer Scams Notice
Weatherford has been made aware of fraudulent recruitment activities in which unauthorized individuals or groups misuse the company’s name, logo, and branding to issue fake job offers and solicit payments from prospective candidates.
These communications may appear legitimate and often include job descriptions, compensation details, and benefits information. In some cases, candidates are asked to pay fees related to immigration, visa processing, or other employment‑related costs.
Our Commitment to Ethical Recruitment
Weatherford is committed to maintaining ethical recruitment practices and adheres to the Employer Pays Principle.
This means:
- Candidates will not be required to pay any fees at any stage of the recruitment, hiring, or onboarding process
- This includes, but is not limited to, application fees, recruitment fees, visa or immigration processing fees, training costs, or placement fees
- All recruitment‑related costs are the responsibility of Weatherford or its authorized partners, not the candidate
Any request for payment in connection with a Weatherford job opportunity is unauthorized and should be treated as fraudulent.
Important Notice
Weatherford International and its affiliates and subsidiaries will never request or accept payment from candidates under any circumstances during the recruitment, hiring, or onboarding process.
Fraudulent actors may attempt to create a sense of urgency or legitimacy by sending detailed offer letters or requesting sensitive information. These communications do not originate from Weatherford.
