Install a gas-lift valve in a completion to continuously inject into the annulus instead of using coiled tubing.

Weatherford Well Services experts collaborated with the operator and deployed a retrofit gas-lift straddle system designed to inject nitrogen through the production casing (annulus A).
Key components and techniques included.
- V0-rated WidePak™ II Packer: Ensured tubing seal integrity under demanding conditions.
- Rigless Intervention: Utilized electric wireline for depth correlation and accuracy, followed by slickline operations for final deployment.
- ISO EasySet Setting Tool: A non-explosive setting tool used to position the straddle top section safely and efficiently.
The intervention was completed without a rig, and the well was successfully brought back into production.

The retrofit solution delivered significant operational and environmental benefits:
- Reduced Operational Expenditure (OPEX): Eliminated the need for continuous coiled-tubing operations.
- Lower Carbon Footprint: Minimized site emissions and physical footprint.
