CygNet v9.2 has been released!

December 14, 2018 / 0 comments / in General  / by Jacob Allred

We are pleased to announce the release of CygNet version 9.2!

This new release brings with it some excellent new IoT features such as our new IoT EIE and IoT Sparkplug EIE. Both of these drivers use the MQTT protocol to subscribe to data from an MQTT publisher. We’ve also added an OPC Lufkin EIE and an OPC Weatherford EIE which allow you to collect data from these devices via OPC.

We’ve added the new Nexus Service to our product as well. The Nexus Service allows you to publish your CygNet data via MQTT to an MQTT server.

Canvas has had significant enhancements, modifications, and fixes as well. For those who got to see it in action at WESC, you’re already aware of the new controls Canvas has added such as the Donut, Sparkline, and Linear Gauge. There is also a new Tile View control that displays real-time data in a series of tiled Details controls. This control makes dynamic screen building simple and requires no scripting to configure.

CygNet BridgeAPI has been introduced which allows you to access CygNet APIs via our RESTful interface. Now you can access your CygNet data securely from the Web!

CygNet Well Test is now available in a separate module. You can now track oil, water, and gas values for tested wells in a production facility. This module allows you to gather well test data from production wells, process and store well test data, and visualize well test data on operations screens.

CygNet Measurement has added new balance report options, PGAS export format support, and we’ve added new processing options to support your FlowCal export options.

There are many other enhancements and fixes in CygNet v9.2. I encourage you to upgrade your systems and take a look at all the features for yourself.

Happy holidays!
